On the job trainees and students of the Daimler Company Ltd. pursueing either a degree or a diploma can stay at the Daimler hostels of the IB (Daimler hostels). The two hostels are situated in the Rostocker Straße for one and another in Esslingen-Zollberg in the Eichendorf Street.
The said hostels are affiliated to the Daimler concern, meaning bookings are explicitly made by the booking office of the Daimler company Ltd.
Of the two hostels, the one situated in the Rostocker Street has come a long way since its inception in 1960. Originally meant for male students only, it has been open to female members and trainees since 1999. The hostel in Esslingen-Zollberg on the other hand offers accommodation to male members only.
